TR Raptor cam install?

okay guys got everything done today. car starts right up but surges somewhat. its still trying to find its idle but for the most part it was a fun painful learning experience. so now i got a question how many miles should i put on my car before i take it to go get tuned.
Another question is WHO should I take my car to get it tuned? I live in Stockton Ca. Newtech and Synergy Motorsports seem to be the ones people go to around here. Any suggestions let me know. thanks.
