408 with MS3 adding 200 shot? Keep it or go custom?
Don't know if this would be better here or the nitrous section. Keeping good power NA matters too so I posted here.
I am going to add a wet 200 direct port shot to my 408 in the near future but am debating about keeping the MS3 or not. I know they handle nitrous well with the 346 but am thinking that it should do well with the 408 also. I am plan on swapping to TFS 235 heads (have PRC 2.5 5.3s now) during the install.
As for the cam swap, I like the fact that a 240ish cam (114LSA) running warm is hard to pick up on the 408 through a muffler and going custom may ruin that. Anyone have any experience or seen anyone that has a similar setup/goals? Thanks,
Mike

Exactly, I made 508whp/480wtq with the MS3/PRC combo as is. The TFS heads will net me a little more horse if I keep the MS3 but probably won't make much more torque since it will be topend from bottlenecking the PRCs. I'm liking the fact of a closer ratio on the hp/tq N/A. I just don't know if I should swap though. Currently the car cracks 400wtq around 2700 horse/torque cross over is at 5400 and horses peak at 6400 dropping at 66-6700. Plus the MS3 as of now is EXTREMELY Streetable which I am loving. Guess I am just torn between which would be more benefical
