Adjustable Yella Terras

Adjustable Yella Terras i recently bought a set of 1.7 adj. yella terra rockers from a local guy and he has no idea how to shim/set them up. any help would be great!

Are these shaft mounted (like the non-adjustables) or stud mounted with guide plates? Setting up the stud mounted if you don't know the pushrod length is a bit trickier.
If they are shaft mounted, use a check spring and dial indicator to set the wipe pattern (rocker height in relation to the valve stem height) and then measure for the pushrod. Once you have the pushrod length installation is easy because the adjuster will set the preload.

Set the wipe first, then put the pushrod in and see if you can get the correct preload. Setting the wipe is going to effect pushrod length, but since the adjuster is on the pushrod end you "may" be able to use them. You also need to check and see if there is a required position for the adjuster.
