LM7 + 243s?
I am replacing a set of 61.15cc 706 casting heads omy my stock bottom end LM7 5.3. I have a set of low mile 243s that came off my TBSS when I put AFRs on that motor.
The stock 243s are 64.45cc from what I have read so I am planning to take .030" off the 243s to get the chambers down to 60cc.
With that setup and a stock .051" MLS gasket I should be good with a slight compression bump from having 1cc smaller chambers and the added flow of the 243s right?
May put a ZO6 cam in the motor too. I want to stick with the stock head gasket because I plan to run this motor on 89 octane.
