Default Any problems/gotchas using ARP Head Studs

If I go with studs for my heads is there anything I should know?

I am thinking it will be a pain to get the head in between the top of the stud and the cowl when you are putting the head on. Anything else?

Nothing really special about them. Just make sure to use the ARP sealant that comes with them...

Getting the heads off w/ the studs is just as easy as without them.

I just put them in about 10 lbs torque then loosen them and tighten by hand...

There are no clearance problems using studs in car in an Fbody. You might have to move your driver side header around while torquing the heads down (depending on what kind of headers you have), but other than that - just use the ARP lube and torque em down.

The ARP head studs was some of the best money I've ever spent on my car. Really takes alot of the hassle of headswapping away! No more coolant in the bolt holes and such! Also, there is no clearance issues.

yep just soakem in oil b4 use then use the arp lube when inserting into block....tighten down to 22-25lbs..loosen back up then hand tighten....heads will fit and it's SOOOO much easier than that regular turn so much then turn more then turn some more that the stock head bolts require.
