Default Need some timing help ASAP

I am in the middle of doing my cam swap and totally forgot to set the cam sprocket dot and crank sprocket dot before I took the cam out. I spun the crank until the dot was at 12 o'clock and then spun the cam until the dot was at 6 o'clock. After that I connected the timing chain and spun the motor over by hand 15 or 20 times and the dots line up every time, does this mean I am ok? Or is there a chance I am still out of sequence?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As long as its dot to dot your good to go, everything else will fall into line.

You're good and you don't need to line it up during disassembly. If they line up correctly and you have spun it a few times you are OK.

Thanks for all the responses! I guess we'll find out if all is good when we start it up?
