Default max RPM's

I am wondering what you guys think is the max safe RPM for me to turn my motor, It is a 5.3 bored to 5.7, Forged pistons, SCAT H beam rods, stock crank. The balance sheet that i got from the machine shop shows the crank was balanced to 8000 RPM. For my valve train i have patriot dual valve springs with titanium retainers. My heads and mains are studded

thanks

I would take it to the dyno see where the power starts to drop off and go about 200 rpm more than that. Now with the right valve train set up for your cam there should not be a problem with you spinning her. I am sure you replaced the rod bolts and everything correct. What RPM is your cam power band set to?

Dyno it... and see what the power band is.. see where it peaks. I doubt your valvetrain will handle better then 7000-7200 without float.

My cam is rated from 3K - 7K. I shift at 6800 red line at 7K 7200 is about it like stated prior. but you should be fine shifting at 6600 redline @ 6800 but again thats just a guesstimate once your tuner gets her dialed in you should have your revs set for optimum shift point and red-line good luck keep us posted on final numbers.
