Looks like some things have changed and I'll be sticking with an ls1 block. So the 408 will be changing to a 383, as I already have the 4.00" crank. Has anyone used a 98 block? I hear about cooling issues regarding the rear of the block, but will it work in a street setup? This motor will be high comp, and will not see any sort of power adders. Just some high revs.

Just thought it would be easy to use the block I have now, after a little machine work of course.
