Default Thoughts on this cam choice

222/224 .600/.600 112lsa or 224/226 .600/.600 112lsa

Looking for something that's going to pull strong in the low and mid range. Looking to shift at like 6000-6200.

Mods are: Lid, LT's, 3 inch exhaust, pulleys. Any guess as to what a cam like that would put down on a dynojet w/ a tune?

Either one of those cam specs will do what you are asking. It would be a toss up which would make more power. My guess is the 224/226 because of the split but it wouldn't be by much.

Why limit yourself? Those seem extremely generic and not really tailored to a specific setup.

the TSP 228r cam will get you close to 400rwhp with a tune.

I know that first hand!

However, I see why you aren't listing big cams now. You want to shift pretty early. You aren't going to reach any of the possible potential an aftermarket cam will offer with that soon of a shift. I would consider doing a set of rod bolts and not worry about spinning it up that much anymore.

If it is for a non-site sponsor you better not use our PM.

I wasn't saying it isnt possible, but 6000-6200 must be his limit for a reason.

Well I'm open for suggestions on different specs. I just want some amazing power under the curve and through out pretty much the entire RPM range.

Then you really can't go wrong with a custom cam from a variety of the site sponsors here.
