I would certainly be willing to bet it won't pass any IM. Too much overlap.

To the OP. Congrats. Sounds great, and glad it seems to be working for you. I wouldn't call myself an "ASA" hater, but I only ran that cam for a couple months before going custom. Didn't work for me, running 3.42's with the six speed. Always wanted to surge around 1500 give or take 200 rpm. Not to mention it never made good power for me, 360rwhp with supporting bolt ons. After two dyno tunes I gave up on it.

But like I said, glad to hear it's working for you.

Sounds good!
Make sure you find a good tuner. Mine has been back to the tuner 4 times and it still isnt right.

ive read many of your posts regarding this cam. i will say it made me think twice. but a lot of other guys made good power with it. its not a top end numbers making cam. so i dont expect to see much more then you madwe with it. it is after all considered a "baby" cam, when compared to a lot of others.

so i had it partially tuned . it runs good.. needs some idle adjustment yet. but overall it runs like a champ. very decent manners around town and the sound of it turns heads . on the thruway , it drives almost like a stocker. its actually fun as hell on the thruway. gas mileage suffered quite a bit, not that i care at this point.

so today i took it to the local 1/8th mile track.

i was pretty happy with the results. a little more tuning it will be better. and it was like 90 out with 80% humidity. this cam makes a good amount of torque, it pulled hard alll the way through the run.

best ET 7.84 at 87.26 with a 1.71 60ft.
