Mystery bolt; where doesit go?

Default Mystery bolt; where doesit go?

I am putting on a set of 243's and installing a EPS cam. I am putting everything back together and i find this bolt...it is a 13mm and i can't figure out where it goes.

Yeah i thought about that so I took the pump off to confirm; I had all the correct bolts on the pump and bracket...it is only about1/4" wide

Oh yeah it from a 2000 T/A

No, it's to short to be for the water-pump.
Maybe a mount bolt for the belt tensioner, or a idler pulley bolt, or possibly a TB mount bolt.

Please explain...I don't remember that. I know there are the three long bolts that go in the front to hold the bracket and alternator.

HAha! I swapped a gen I over in my 78 truck in 94 and had 1 bolt leftover I could never figure out.... Sold the truck in 99 and it was still running like a Timex in 07 last time I saw it...

I cant be 100% sure but i believe its the bolt that hold the ground stra into the back of the alternator i dont have a way to post a pic but i have all my bolts that ive taken out of the motor(building a 383) in ziplock baggies labled with what they go to and thats the only 13 mm with a tapered thread i can find

That could be it, i cant check it out till tomorrow...Yeah I should have done the baggie thing, but I didnt and look what happens. You know now that I think about it was under my alternator (which I put in a box) when i went to reinstall it.

It is 100% without a doubt the bolt that holds the bracket to the rear of the alternator as said above. Then it has another bolt that goes to the raised portion on the side of the block. There is no ground strap here factory. Bracket looks like this:
