Default assembling heads

I have PRC 2.5 243's and I need to take one apart to flycut with the Lindy tools. They have about 800 miles on them, can I just re-assemble them (same parts per cylinder) or do I have to lap the valves into place? Thanks.

I think you have to use a junk head with the guide removed or modified.

No, the Lindy tools are designed to be used in a good head. There is a thread around here somewhere that a guy used them in an out of the box Dart head.
