I purchased a ls motor frm a 99-02 chevy pickup. from my research i found that the motor is a 5.3 iron block. but i cant seem to find out if i should be buying standard ls1 parts or is there a specific parts (cams/rotating assembly) I should be looking for. ANY help would be helpful.

 

The cams will work. I know that for a fact!
