Default How to check if heads have been milled

Looking to buy some used heads, is there a way to check if heads have been milled before buying them? Thanks for the help.

You would have to cc the chambers. (ie: verify the combustion chamber volume).

They are probably stamped from a previous mill. I can't think of a machine shop that doesnt stamp their heads with how much material was removed. Pretty vital info if you ask me.

Usually, if you look at the intake side you can see if a cut has been made, and of course if they made a cut there then the heads have been milled. This wont tell you how much they have been milled but should be a dead give away if they have been.
