Default head swap question

i can get a set of bare heads for pretty cheap locally.. i was wondering what is required to do the swap as far as parts needed to complete the heads and make them "assembled"? thanks

bare as in no rockers, springs, retainers, and locks?

what casting number?and with valves?valve job, valves,springs,retainers,seals.

i mean bare is in only the head.. its a fully port and polished head and i can get it damn near free.. i plan on doing the swap along with a cam swap.. im new to head construction so im not sure of anything i will need.. anyone have a link to show how a head works/what its made up of?
