HELP! what gasketts, head bolt or stud with stage 2 heads?

Question HELP! what gasketts, head bolt or stud with stage 2 heads?

hi,
i'm having stage 2 5.3 patriot heads installed. what kind of head gaskett should i go with?
also, what head bolt or stud do i need,
the car only has a TR224 cam, LT, and the PP 5.3 heads, should i do bolts or studs (ARP?)

i used bolts

and all gm gaskets

The GM head gaskets are good. Also, I would highly recommend head studs - it makes things 100 times easier/faster if you ever have to swap heads again.

so, i'll get GM gaskets.
and for the studs, should i get the ARP's, or would you guys recommend other brands?

I agree with the above. I changed over to ARP studs this last time and it made it SO much easier. If you ever have the heads off again in the future they will pay for themselves. I have used, almost every gasket out there and I like the GM steel shim gaskets just for the reason that they are easier to clean up off the block than the graphite ones. They are all good.

i don't really think i will ever change the heads in the future, so is using GM head bolts ok? or should i upgrade to ARP? the price of the ARP is a little high, so is it worth it, is it going to be stronger?
