I have a Futral FM13 cam (230"/232" .595"/.585" 112LSA with 4 degrees of advance ground in) and it will stay in the car.
Right now I don't have any PTV issues with my Patriot LS6 style stage 2 heads that have 2.02/1.57 valves and are 59cc. I'm looking at the TEA LS6 Stage 2 heads which have 2.04/1.575 valves, and getting them milled to 59cc as well. So from what I can tell the difference is the bigger valves.
I planned on using the clay method if I were to do the head swap. But before I buy them milled I want to ask if I would have PTV issues?
thanks

I originally wanted to use the TSP V2 cam and I have non milled 243 heads with 2.055 intake valves and when I had my head machinest check PTV he said I would be cutting it extremly close to having PTV problems if I ever floated the valves or miss shifted I would be replacing valves.
I wish I could remember his measurement he came up with,,but he suggested the cam I have now which will give me room to mill the heads more or go with a thinner head gasket if I wanted to bump up the compression in the future.
But I do know there are several people on this forum that are running 2.04-2.05 intake valves with there 243 heads milled .030 with no problems,,,but I would like to add that some companies sink the intake valve seats deeper to keep from having PTV issues with the larger valves. I personally think that is bad pratice wether or not Patriot or TEA are doing this I don't know.
Good luck

You might consider swapping to a aftermarket cylinder head. We offer prc 215 and 227 heads that with 59cc chambers will have near stock p/v!! Not to mention they're on special for under $2000 right now. I don't blame you for wanting to upgrade heads, but I think if your going to go for it step up big time to a aftermarket casting!!
