I'm thinking of doing a custom grind --i'm thinking on like a 226/234/575/588@112+2 with that spec would i have a p/v clearence problem? --i'm useing comp magnum lifters and heads were milled like 5-10k when freshend up

It's hard to tell with uncommon combos or custom cams, like you are planning to do. I would guess that you would not have a problem. However, since the heads were milled, I would clay the pistons to make sure.

I'd say stick with whats proven to work, and there are so many cam choices from so many manufacturers I'd see no need to get a custom grind. Just my 2 cents.
