man, you guys got it easy. only 2 places around here that are Fbody enthusiast shops and they want $1100 to do a H/C swap (not including gaskets) + $450 for LS1 Edit dyno tuned + $200 to install the longtubes + hpipe (theoretically, the headers come on and off anyways and should be free, but he said that it needed tooling with to fit, thus $200 (instead of the $350 normally to do LT/Hpipe)).
Come up to us... We'll put together a nice package... It may be a ride from MD depending on where you are located, but we have numerous customers from Baltimore and Washington DC.

Moore Performance quoted me well over $1400 for the install.

I went down the road instead for $525......

Shops can vary alot but I think $950 for a head/cam install is a good deal.

skunk50, what local shops are you reffering to? I do all of my own tuning and mods, but I'm just curious what F-body oriented shops are in our area? Thanks.
