3.8l v6 swap to ls1 in 4rth gen? im not sure if this has been asked before but im sorry im probably not using the right keywords.
so id like to know what it would take to swap out the 3800 v6 from a 4rth gen firebird to a ls1 v8, i know a ls1 with a manual trans with all the electrical etc. should be around $3000 but what would it cost to do the swap on a teenagers budget?

you will need a new k-member. its pretty much plug and play i did one to my 2000 firebird v6 to a 99 ls1 with trans. didnt change the fuel.. it worked with it. i changed the rear end and the d/s but the d/s will work. i cnt think of anything else...maybe that was all of it. oh and radiator and fans.
