anyone have a picture of the back of their crankshaft with 24t reluctor wheel
I have been searching for over an hour and cant find a good picture of the back of the crankshaft with THE 24 tooth wheel installed in the correct position. Long story short I believe the folks who put mine on did it wrong. I have a write up but would really like to see a picture SO I can see exactly what it is supposed to look like... Thanks

if its 24tooth one side will have a halfcircle/triangle on it and the other will be full circle. The triangle side goes towards rear of car.

Well, a picture is worth a thousand words, Heres my crank.
The reluctor is on backwards. Now Hopefully the shop makes everything right. Much more cost than just a new wheel and putting it on, Now I will need new bearings again, bolts, gaskets, seals. ETC.
Hopefully they are a standup company, their reputation is outstanding thats why I chose them.

Mate you won't need anything. I personally have changed many reluctors in our shop. It's not hard and since the belts are new just clean them, use engine oil on the thread and torque them up a touch over spec. Seals and bearings will be fine. To date LSx's have some of the best gasket work I've ever seen. I do advise you however to be there when they swap it round so you can see if the tool is used for correct alignment. Will save you alot of stress if you somehow fit an engine in with a eelic

What ND400 said... it is critical for the reluctor to be aligned with crank...
the reluctor tells the PCM the crank position at any time (i.e. where each TDC is relative to crank rotation), ignition/injectors are keyed from this.
