Adjustable rockers Anyone have any information on adjustable LS1 rockers? I would like to use the rockers to adjust my preload with the comp R's and not screw around with shimming them.
I have heard of a couple in development but are there any out on the market now? Any pricing info? (hopefully not 800 bucks US or something outrageous like that)

If your motor can handle it, Try the Comp Pro Mags http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Pr.../ProMagnum.asp Adjustable, rebuildable, lifetime warrenty and cheaper than any others.
The ONLY bad thing Ive seen is that the only ratios are 1.75 and 1.85. Thunder sells them for a good price.

I was debating solid roller myself and didnt want to go with 1.75-1.85's or go with aftermarket valve covers or spacers. It turns out that Vinci makes an adjustable 1.7 that fits under the stock covers. They are similar to the crane 1.8's but in the stock ratio. They come with hardened pushrods and guide plates. $650 on the VHP website. It is a bargain when you consider the savings for coil relocation, covers, spacers, and the cost of shaft mounted adjustables. Good luck with the hunt.

Comp pro magnum rockers 1.75 and will increase lift and then coil bind is an issue ?
Only ones I know of now are shaft system and then there is the valve cover issues .
Harland sharp will be coming out in Feb with an adjustable that is affordable but still will need to increase valve cover height

The Comp`s are adjustable like the old scool chevy rockers are they float and are not tightened down. They require pushrod guild plates to keep them in line so they don`t walk of the valve. I should have a set of the Harlands to test in a couple of weeks. We will see what kind of clearance is needed. The problem making rockers with adjusters to fit under the valve cover is making them short enough to clear there is no clearance between the rocker tip to the valve cover. Thats where the adjuster needs to go. The Harland Sharps will be cheap and we have a sheetmetal aluminum valve cover to go along with them. I will do a special with both as soon as they are tested and made.

The Vinci ones are exactly the same as the cranes. I had the cranes and they as well as the Vinci's will fit under the stock covers with full adjustability. the center mounting nut tightens down to zero lash then you set the preload by 1/4 turns.

I had to sell mine before I got them installed
I now have ones that definately dont clear What did you settle on? Are they adjustable? Did you do the valve cover spacer? That seems to be the cheapest route - spacer and longer truck plug wires. More Performance has a sweet billet valve cover that is 1 inch taller and will take the coil packs. Still need longer plug wires and it is about $550!
