I have a short stroke road racing engine. I need to make up for all the power lost by the stroke and so I'm going big bore. What would it cost to get it resleeved to a large bore? I don't need Darton because I will never run the engine past 600hp. I have a core with a bad sleeve so I wouldn't have the core charge. Is there any problem with boring out a 5.3L aluminum block with sleeves since that would be a cheaper starting point?
