Default Ported/milled 241's or ported /big valve 706's

I'm on a tight budget. So, my debate is this... I've got the 241's but I'm wanting to trade them for some 5.3 706's. Either will get a performance valve job and I've had good luck with home porting my own heads. Now, I'm thinking they have the same runner volume, but the 706 has a smaller 1.89 intake valve stock, but the smaller cc chamber for the raised comp.
On a stock piston Ls1 block... which will be safer with a high comp.(11-12:1 goal) n/a set up with a mild 230ish .600 lift cam. Would milling the 241's to 58-60cc bring the 2.00" valve too close to the piston(w/MLS gasket)? Or is the money not werth the purchase of the 2.02-2.05 valve for the 706 head over the milled stock valve 241's....UHHH.
Please help..

I would use the 241s with a bigger valve and mill them slightly.

In this case the 241s are more cost effective port them and mill them with a valve job should net you 280cfm if done properly.
