Its possible. He has a 2002 Z28, and several of them are factory freaks. My 02 SS dynoed 321 rwhp bone stock, and 337 rwhp with just a lid. Dynos were done back to back, while still strapped down on the Dynojet. A4s make about 10 less rwhp, and he has a catback. Here is my "freak" dyno:

"321 rwhp bone stock", now that's a believable freak. But 16 additional hp from a lid? Even your lid is a freak.

i've seen lids time and time again give 15rwhp. one of my buddies picked up 13rwhp by switching from the slp lid to a direct flow lid. 16rwhp is quiet believable and fairly common.

I am surprised where this thread went. People doubting the validity of my statement instead of setting the final results straight. Anyway, the 330 was with a Predator tune, which I have since removed. So I may have as "low' as 320-325 rwhp now. I ran a 13.4 @ 106 bone stock. I am not sure if that qualifies as a freak but is does run healthy. This is the way I see it:

325 now
345 cam
353 pulley
355 tb
360 Predator

(disclaimer: these numbers are theoretical and represent a below mean average based on results from this board).

I think its possible but not common for other cars to do it. Its only dyno #'s they dont mean much if any. Keep in mind a converter will make your car faster than all of that stuff combined. Goodluck on your project

you have an '02 LS1, so going to an LS6 cam is a nice jump. From the small truck cam .479 lift to LS6 .551 lift. Others with '01+ LS1 cars have gained 30+ hp with the LS6 cam, so if you're at 330 now, then 360 is very possible.

well i dynoed 321rwhp and 328 rwtq with just a lid, dynomouth, and new plugs and wires on my 2000 A4. So maybe it is possible to get 330rwhp. I thought that i had fairly high numbers for my mods and was really expecting like 310rwhp max. You might as well go with a bigger cam then the ls6 cam and gain power everywhere.
