Default do i really need long tubes

I have a 99 ws6 m6. i have a pretty much stock motor i am putting in a mild cam in it along the lines of a m3 or tsunmi and puttin g a fast 90mm intake with direct port. i have stock manifold with a off road y pipe and full xhaust do i really need long tubes or would i be good? i am not doing heads just cam

FWIW, that would've been my first mod. But, to each his own. You definitely won't regret getting a set. Probably the most bang for your buck seat of the pants feeling you'll get. Besides, down the road when you want to get heads, they will just complement each other all the better. GL!!

Not sure about this one, but I don't think that any state "allows" long tubes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

YES. My state doesn't allow them and it was the first thing I did. No cats on mine either but thats optional. LTs are a MUST if your doing a cam...well if you want to make that cam worth the effort and live up to its full potential.

YES if you want to see the true potential of the rest of your setup but a Tsunami/MS3 is NOT a mild cam... you should have gear and/or stall to match or it may suck and be a dog down low....I think you may need to do some research ....

do the headers and a torquer 3.look at a cam kit from TSP.how many miles on the motor?biggest is not the fastest.

It was my first mod as well & yes they will compliment your cam & any other engine mods you do!
