timing chain dampener question
i have a 67 camaro that im building a forged iron block 347 and putting some boost to. i have diamond flat tops with callies compstar rods, stock crank 317 heads. shoulod be around 9.5/1 compression. i only want about 600-650 ish hp.
i bought an hd ls2 timing chain for this setup. will it work and is there anyway to dampen it?

... Like I said if you have the engine out of the car I would if I needed it for my application ... but for a street car daily driver I would not fool with it ... my rig makes 452/418 and has 90,000 miles on the current chain...
(LS2 chain)
