hey all i am looking at getting a set of forged pistons for a stock bore ls1, i prefer the 2618 over the 4032 as the 2618 will expand a bit more when warmed up. also i do not want to change the compression so basically a stock style forged piston that will work on a stock rod would be perfect.

I know I am a little late to the party but had a related questions. I am looking for a stock bore forged piston as well. It is for a PD supecharged application. So I would prefer a dished piston that will keep the stock compression ratio. What cc piston do I need? And what rods would go best with them?

what about a connecting rod? I'm doing the same to mine but changing the rods as well. plan on doing a turbo soon so I need forged. would there be and clearance issues with a 6.125 rod over the factory rod length?
