I know there is not a damn thing wrong with my car. I bought this thing brand new and it runs as good if not better than the day I drove it home from the dealers lot. I am just baffled by these numbers.

I see you have an ASP pulley. They have had a few bad ones. This could be causing your problems. Either they work really well or kill the performance. My friends 2002 WS6 had one on it and it was so severe that it caused misfires. He tried everything from coil packs, to injectors to plugs and wires. Soon as he put his stock crank pulley back on everything went back to normal. He sent his ASP pulley back and they replaced it. If it isd causing the morot to go out of balance, it will kill your power.
post the dyno. Was it uncorrected,sae/std? My 00 with lid/catback/27psi nitto 555R's (yeah flat tires do make some difference) did 307whp iirc (in my sig).
with 2.73's, runs unlocked of course. i didn't find it spectacular but i guess average for a 2.73. It ran 13.7 at the track last season before they shutdown. Maybe you need to run that car and see if it actually backs up those #'s. That would be like high 14's probably.

Wow, I never heard that. I would think I would notice any problems with it. There are no vibrations or missing. Car is not slow by anymeans. BUT........
here is a stupid question, when the guy asked me what my redline was I told him 5700. He put that in the computer, can the program shut down my engine there or not? Cause on the dyno sheet it looks like it only went to 5300 rpms then falls right off.
Well not all dyno's are accurate. Heatsoaking the car can affect dyno's. Low tire pressure, blah blah blah.
Find someone with EFILIVE if you wanna know for sure whats going on or gm tech 2 or whatever. Go drive around and see whats up.
Could be your trans is slipping, simple as that. If thats the case that 408 stroker may still only make 265RWHP
Go do some logs with a buddy (ask in the regional forums) and see whats really going on.
KR and misfires are very very apparent on every car i've datalogged (2 did, 1 didn't).

Thinking back as well, they didnt have a fan infrot of the car either.
btw, notice i have a catback and tsp lid/filter, and my peak WHP ends before 5500. probably in 5300range... no point in keeping the run past peak whp..
not exactly sure why the tuner ran my car to 7000+ rpm's. That would have been unnerving to me..
p.s. when i click your dyno link-->

go find a new dyno and run it to redline. Something aint right bout that dyno.
thats way off my SAE corrected #'s. All i had on the 2.73A4 unlocked run was lid/filter/catback/nitto's. Maybe the dyno was fecked?

you know, they also did not hook anything to the PCM. I dunno if they are supposed to but how else would you get unlocked? All that was hooked up was the A/R reader, spark plug wire clamp and there wasnt even a fan in fron tof the engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how the hell did they keep the transmission in 3rd gear without tech2/efilive/etc.
?
i'd find a shop that has the tools/knowledge to dyno an A4 ls1..
you dyno a4's in 3rd gear, and use the software to keep the trans computer locked in gear.
You can obviously see on my dyno how the unlocked runs are because of the torque multiplication happening. If the car was locked it would not have made 481wft/lbs (or the 328). I guarantee you that.
Go find a new shop, i think you're dyno is fud, and you probably are making a bit more than that..
i'd bet $20 a shop with efilive pro, laptop, and someone that could use it to throw it in 3rd and run it unlocked would give you better #'s.
Btw, you get more torque unlocked on a stab & dyno and less hp.
When its locked up, you get more hp, and less torque obviously.
Notice how my dyno's (unlocked) have that stab of torque in the beginning? thats kinda what tipped me off that someone was done wrong.
I'm curious how they kept the tranny from downshifting when they wot'd it?

he didnt stab it, he gradually went up, prob why no WOT. I am guessing. I have no real experience in this so that is why I have all the ?'s
I will get another printout from a different shop this weekend and post it with these sheets.
BTW, do you know what the deal is with the spike on mine?

obviously they have no clue on how to dyno. Go find a shop that can control the A4 and knows how to dyno an ls1 A4. You'll be happier.
if the shop can't : lock the trans in 3rd, run the 'verter locked/unlocked, run!!
it would be cool to see the locked/unlocked 'verter runs.
Btw they gotta be real careful dyno'ing the a4 cars. Go search for "broken tailshaft dyno" and read up.. A few folks for some unknown reason including me, had the tailshaft snap on the dyno. Cost me $225 (tow/parts). Nobody knows exactly why it happens but it did to me and others.
