If someone spent some time with both springs on a spintron the decision would be a no-brainer. The new PRC spring is a large step in development past the gold/platinum stuff.

For those looking for the cliff's notes, I measured the installed height of the Patriot Xtreme springs on my 100% new GM LS3 heads and found that their installed height measured at about 1.750"... low enough to put me into coil bind with the .650 cam I intended to run.
After being told by countless people that the patriots were the spring to get, I called TSP and they mentioned that I wasn't the first person to make this discovery, and said he was sure that the TSPs would install at the proper height. I got the TSPs and they installed at just a few thousands under 1.8", which left ample space for my .650 cam.
Makes me wonder how many people actually check these things before they install them.
It also makes me understand why I see so many valve spring failure threads on here.
