HELP 98 trans am wont crank
HELP 98 trans am wont crank i have a 98 trans am ls1 6 speed the car has always ran fine never any problems other than just basic stuff but last night i went out to eat and drove the car got to the resturant and cut the car off went in and eat came back out and now the car wont start. it just spins over. i have checked fuel and it has fuel pressure and fuel. i checked all conectors and still nothing i then check for spark and its not getting any spark to any of the plugs. i have a buddy tell me maybe it was the crank sensor not allowing it to crank or give spark so i replace it because i did have a engine light on for the sensor p1336 was the code after changing the sensor and clearing the code the code just popped back up but the car still will not crank please someone help.. any advise i am lost i cannot think of anything else.
try the switching the relays under the hood in the fuse box and just so I have this right the car CRANKS but wont start right it may be the inginition relay you can swap it with the ac relay its the small black box on the driver side under the hood
car dosnt crank it will just spin and spin never fire there is no spark replace the crank sensor still nothing. i still have the p1336 code also with is the crank sensor so i dont know i have check wires and have check fuses i have also unplugged connectors and plugged them back in.
cranking is what the car does when the motor is spinning and trying to start THERE ARE RELAYS CHECK THEM I JUST WENT THRU THIS AND THE DEALER CHARGED MY FRIEND 300.00 TO FIX IT WITH A 12.00 RELAY HIS PROBLEM WAS IT CRANKED AND DIDNT START NO SPARK FORGET ABOUT THE FUSES AND CHECK THE RELAYS
