g5x3 hp numbers Hey wussup guys I have a quick question. In the next week im getting a g5x3 cam installed on my 99ss. It has full exhaust cold air 3.73 gears ls6 intake with 28lb injectors walbro 255 fuel pump springs double roller etc. stock heads and it is a 6spd and 100shot but wont be spraying yet I just want to see the n/a hp. What hp numbers would you guys say i should expect. And what to expect on the 100shot also. Thanks alot
You need a fast intake bad. Try to get a used 90-92mm over the 102mm. worth 20hp and being used,you save money. Power numbers is what ever the dyno feels that day. In the past i did 400hp on a jet and with the same set up did 370hp on a mustang dyno. Now i'm 530hp on that same stang dyno.
I say over 400rwhp for sure. On my old '01 z28 I also had full bolt-ons (also had an UD pulley which I see you don't have) and with a SD tune it made 421rwhp/390rwtq. Had 4.10 gears and car was a blast to drive on the street. Good luck and have fun

cool I was considering the same head setup it was either afr 205 or trickflow 215's but Ive heard afr is releasing their new 210 cc head I might just wait to see what those are about. What injectors are you running with that setup.
