Dont feel bad my first converter was a tci 2500 lol. I had a 228R behind it and I took it to a best of 12.50 at 110, so It can help but just not as much. I then switch to a Yank ss3200 and 3.73 and hit a best of 12.06 at 116 with a 1.84 6oft.

well.. im 33 and my first car was a 79 monte carlo.. $150 and only went in reverse when i bought it... 4 weeks later is was at the local track and my first run was a 14.7 at 101mph.. dont remember the short times but that was my first.. anyway, that was what my first motor had... lunati 292/294 650 lift cam i think.. cant be for sure.. but the carb was a holley 850 double pumper with vacuum secondary.. bla bla bla.. old school ****.. just thought it would be funny... i figured the "850 double pumper" should have given it away more than anything...![Cheers!!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_cheers.gif)
