I don't really know to be honest. My Patriots were 64cc chambers and I used the thinner Cometics first round. I think that should have been a real 10.75:1. Now I'm milled .010" using GM MLS but I also have those .080" notches in the pistons. Maybe 10.5?

Very stout numbers!!!!!!!!! Doing the rough math I have you around 10.8:1 which makes those numbers even more impressive through a 9" and auto trans!! Glad you are able to enjoy the car.

so would 799's unmilled be ok w/o cutting pistons? i want to pp and go to bigger valves. and i really like this cam but don't want to have to fly cut.

I installed the Patriots out of the boxes with Cometics. One leaked coolant as soon as we fired it up. I thought it was just a Cometic thing but eventually I lost the gasket that side. When the heads were checked the bad one was found to have runout.

Their was also an article done on a set of Corvette manifolds that made almost identical power as 1 3/4" LT's. Only problem is you would need to order new through GMParts Direct or Scoggin Dickey.
