well i had to have them for this weekend so i went ahead and ordered some katachs. i called and spoke with jason and he told me they changed the torque specs to 35 ftlbs, loosen, 35, loosen and a final pass at 45. hope to have the car running by the end of the weekend

If I was gonna do JUST rod bolts, the katechs are the way to go, However I have read so much bad about it I wouldnt just do the rod bolts. I have heard both sides of the story, I was just never willing to take such a chance, Good luck and I hope yours is one of the good stories.

Despite the higher price tag, I went with the Katech rod bolts. I knew I would rather spend the extra money on a product that wouldn't (at least moreso than other brands) require rehoning the rods.
