If you are looking for an aggressive street cam I would recommend looking into our torquer v.3 camshaft. It has a little less duration then the 233/239 but it has some aggressive lobes so it should keep a broad powerband. We also like to sell it on a 111 LSA so it will have an early powerband and an aggressive idle.

You'll need to change springs and timing chain + of course tuning.

Yes with the correct valvepsrings and pushrods you will be good to go. The cam fits without flycutting no problem.

im personally a huge 233/239 fan. put it in a buddies car on a 114lsa and made 403 hp peak and great power under the curve. just my opinion however

I use LS2 full gears and chain, pushrods will have to be measured but thicker than .080 walls is recommended as well.(reduced flexing), but standard hardened ones will work fine.

The RPM range on the torquer v.3 is 2000-6400rpm. The 98 heads tend to flow the worst out of the all the stock casting heads. Its not a huge difference but is evident when flowed on a bench next to the others.

Default Rocker-arms

Someone suggested a Rocker-arm change is sometimes necessary with a large Cam change. I am going from a stock LS6 .550 lift to a MS3 .605 lift. Is that considered a mild change without a need for new Rocker-arms. thx
