Default anyone running the FM13

anyone running this cam...im thinking of going with the FM11 or this cam
FM11 228 230 581 591 112 +0, 2, or +4 degrees
FM13 230 232 591 595 112 +0, 2, or +4 degrees

i am thinking of upgrading from my current XER comp 224 581 112+2

i have TEA Stage 2 Heads Milled .016...i also have the Multi layer steel 02 head gasket if it makes a difference...how would driveablity be between the two and what kind of power would i be looking at, i have 390 gears to help with driveability and LS1edit to help with tuning....im thinking if i went with the FM13 i could only do a 112+2 or a 114+4 but with the FM11 i could do 112+4....hell i dont know, leave me your thoughts....

I talked to FMS about the same thing...with my 5.3L (non milled) stg 1.5s (2.02int) and they recommended the FM11. said the FM13 would be really close on the PTV. Said it possibly would work but would be VERY close. I'll take the saftey and make up for the loss somewhere else..

what cam are you upgrading from? i just dont see seeing much of an increase in going with the FM11 over the XER 224 as i would rather see a larger increase with the FM13 maybe it would fit on a 114+4

going from a CC 224/230 .56ish/.57ish 112+4*. may not see too much gain but Allans lobe designs seem to work really well with the TEA heads. guess we will find out shortly.

Nobody answered your question on power w/ the FM13. You can expect 440rwhp. range. The FM 11 a little less.
