With the stock lq4 shortblock and 59cc 243's, I should be right around 11:1scr, correct?
I'm looking For a camshaft that's gonna put down some serious times at the track, I could care less about dyno numbers. This car is a weekend toy/track vehicle only, street manners mean very little.
This combo is backed by a th350 with an edge 3400 converter, 3.73's and 26" drag radials in my '95 formula. I've got a decent amount of weight reduction done (guessing the car weighs in the 3100lb area) and my ultimate goal is 10.90's n/a if not better.
It had been recommended in the past to get a 232/238 xer lobed cam on a 112, With a 109 icl, Which I'll play with on the dyno to determine the best results.
More than anything, I'm looking for something that maximizes the motor, I can Always have the converter re-stalled If needed, and swap gears if I have to.
