I am reading LS1/LS6 Performance and they mentioned rebored LS1/LS6 blocks for use in strokers.
Is this this a good idea?

Darton makes kits in two size ranges for the LS1 blocks.
4.125" to 4.160" part number 600-120
4.170" to 4.200" part number 600-140
A lot of guys are building 454" engines 4.185" bore 4.125" stroke. The Hot Rod Magazine cylinder head test block I sleeved was 4.185" bore 4.250" stroke for 468".
