If you look at my gallery I have modified my crossmember so i didnt have to shim it or cut my pan. I am trying to do a clean install and routing those oil lines is a pain...

Nice! I have mine shimmed. The oil lines are a PITA, mine are run a little closer to the headers than I'd like, but so far they're ok.

Gotcha, the funny thing is i have been toying with the idea of building another set of headers in two different ways. Either Putting a decent sized turbo on it, so building a set of headers to go forward, OR... building another set the way I really wanted to build these, instead of the collectors being angled directly next to the bellhousing, making the primaries longer with another bend to put the collectors side by side directly under the torque tube, basically just adding one more bend to each primary and adding about a foot to the length of each one... and using a bender this time to get exact bends so i can place my pipes tight together side by side. Should look much cleaner from the engine bay... Well see...

EPS 226/230 cam delivered today. I've revamped my intake with a modified K&N fipk.

Cam will get installed and car retuned in the next few weeks!

UPDATE!

Got the EPS 226/230 cam installed and put test pipes in and got the car retuned. It made 372rwhp, so exactly what I needed to be at the top of my time trials class.

Basically a 40rwhp gain from my Thunder Racing 224/224 cam and running cats.

I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Thanks! I'm very pleased with the outcome and now I can focus on a few other small things with the car to get ready for the season.

great results. thats on the stock ls1 heads right? wat lobe separation and advance did you have ground into the cam?

i got a quote based on my 243 heads and other bolt-ons to get that same cam you have on 112lsa with 2º advance built in and shift points around 6500rpm with 3600 stall. Thats really a little high for my taste id rather it shift at 6200-6300 and i like a little more torque so i was thinking about having it ground on a 110lsa with 4 degrees advance built in and using a 3200 stall IF possible otherwise ill stick with the 3600.

It's a 111 LSA with a +4 advance I think. Yes, stock 241 heads.

I actually haven't had a chance to drive the car yet! I won't have time to go pick it up until tomorrow and I have to keep an eye on the weather. I need the snow to melt a little before I go and bring it home. It's supposed to be close to 40 today and a bit over 40 tomorrow and Saturday, so I hope to bring it home in the next day or so.
