Default No coolant crossover

A friend noticed the new LQ9 370 I had built and installed has no coolant crossover at all. Both the front and back have the block off plates. Is this a recipe for doom? We noticed a light peppering on the front two drivers side plugs. This makes me think those cylinders are running hot, but my coolant temp stays right at 195-200F. Could I have hurt something? I've got about 2500 miles on this engine and about 40 1/4 mile passes.

The crossover is around $40 from thunder racing id just toss it on there it wouldn't hurt rather then taking a chance. There are a bunch of mixed reviews on this subject some people say you have to and others say you don't.

I remember debates about all four being hooked up vs. just the front two. I didn't remember anything about blocking all of them though. I may order an LS1 version since I think it will fit with my Super Vic.

I can't find the forum it was on but I read about it. But for the how cheap the crossover is it's not worth risking the motor

you can buy a ls6 cross over kit from TSP,you need it to get rid of the air pockets in the head coolant passages.you can get 2 kits, 1 for the front and back and connect them together with T fitting.
