Default collapsed lifter vid inside.

so heres a brief run down on my situation,a few months a go i tore the top
end off my motor due to plans for heads and a cam. i decided not to procede
with that plan due to money reasons. so i purchased a set of very low mile 241 heads from a friend due to a oil burning situation on decel my car had which i belived to be bad valve stem seals or guides which the new heads fixed.at the time i had also replaced a bunch of gaskets and my very stretched timing chain and ported & shimed my oil pump.once all was done i put the motor back together and all was good, lifters pumped up within a minute of inital engine fire.drove the car nice and easy for the first 20 minutes
after a warm up and cool down of the motor.on my next drive i decided to hammer on it for a fun all was good no problems.then latter that night under a wide open throttle pull cam a ticking noise that sounded like a collapsed
lifter.so i let off and cruised home in 6th and the noise went away after a minute.this happined a few times under WOT then would go away.so the other night i tried some marvel mystery oil just incase a lifter was pluged for some reason.to no avail the noise came back under 50% throttle and stayed for good.problem was i had to limp the car home about 15 miles. about 2 miles into the drive a severe mis fire had accured.by the time i had reached home the car was missing bad enough to where i could barely pull my car into the garage. so tonight i pulled the head off the suspected side and can not tell if there is any thing damaged and nothing is obvious.rockers, pushrods, springs valves and all are intact and seem to be fine.should a collapsed lifter be obvious or not?oil pressure was good and not fluctuating or doing any thing odd. also the cylinder in question has a significant carbon build up on the piston comapred to the rest and i know this cause i removed all the carbon from the pistons when the heads were off.
should i have any real cause for concern for my motor? i figured with the noise and the distance my cam would be beat to **** and so would the lifter.
i also attached a vid so you guys can here the noise im talking about.sorry for the long ramble figured back round may help
thanks joe

It could be a collapsed lifter I see that your running nitrous. How many miles are on the motor and are they the stock lifters?

Good chance if that is what this noise is. I have also seen a motor act this way when a head gasket is blown between two cylinders...... a la nitrous. Did you replace your head bolts with new bolts when you had the top end off?

Head bolts were replaced and head gaskets intact. Motor has 137k on it now
And yes it has stock lifters. I'm gonna try and remember to bring my scan tool home to see what cylinder is throwing a misfire code.

How do you know the head gasket is okay?

not to scare you but that sounds more like a busted ring land. do a compression test or just look at your plugs. my guess is your going to find one that is mashed or seriously covered with oil.

Cause the HG is new and fully intact with less than 100 miles. Car has not been sprayed in over 6 months. Would noise from a broken ring land come and go?

Maybe a shorter video would help us all try to get a feel for the noise?

In the bank in question the pistons are intact up top and have inspected the head
All is good. No sign of damage from a loose piece of metal
about to check codes to help identify the cylinder in question since nothing is obvious

Wow. Mystery solved. I would be inclined to use lock-tite this time around.
