hey hows it going everybody? i appreciate all response

anywho, so i just bought a 1998 camaro z28 convertible, triple black, 128k, has a bottom end knock like a rod, cranks and runs, but sounds like shyt!
i got the car for $1850

so can anybody tell me about any stroker kit you would advise?
or just do the z06 cam? should i just rebuild the engine with some goodies?

or if any damage is done, can i throw one of those bored out 5.3 blocks and use ls1 pictons and swap heads, intake, etc. over? will the same sensors work? use the same computer? or just anything you guys think i should do if i have to replace the bottom end..
