Default install of SLP 185 rockers on 5.3

Hello, First post.
I have a 2002 avalanche z-71 (5.3 of course). Have K&N Gen II, TOG headers, and Whipple. Have 2 questions:
First, how long would you experience folks think it would take to install the "SLP Rocker Arm Package, LS1/LS6 w/SLP Springs, Titanium Retainers, Keepers", given that the Whipple has to come of to do it and of course be put back on.
Second, it appears that there has been very little horsepower gain with the install, like 8 HP... but the boost has also dropped from 7lb to 5.5. Does this make sense as the end result of installing the kit? Do I now just need to buy a msller pulley for the Whipple to get some extra horses?? For the cost of the set and install time 8 horsepower hardley seems worth it.

Any advise listened to

im not a big fan of rockers as with just a bit more money and work you can get a cam installed and have more power then rockers can give you.

i dont know how long it takes to remove a s/c but the rocker install on an fbody can be done in a few hours with the right tools. the spring change is gonna take the brunt of the install time, but with the right tool its not that bad.

Not too much in the way of feedback.
Got a hold of the results. Before and after HP numbers are 10 apart. Boost was down just a little over 1 lb. Running a 4 3/8 pulley on the whipple. Going to try a 4 1/4 and 4 to see what happems to boost.

boost is down cuz the rockers increased the overlap and its probably got bled off.
