Alright ill clean the maf with some cleaner and see if that helps. If I wad to put my slp maf on would I need to re tune the car? I have an slp maf from my 2000z I wanted to put on but don't know if I should

You might have to retune the MAF tables. IMO, change the MAF and retune professionaly. The 230/230 should not buck or surge it is only 8* overlap.
What exhaust system is on that SS?

Slp lt' and slp y-pipe. The problem is I can't find anybody to tune for me around the fort wayne area, and im beginning to think I Fucked myself by buying this car lol

I heard that wait4me performance is good as well and they are in warsaw which is a bit closer for me. Either way im going to give them both a call.

Someone else might chime in, but I havent heard a lot of good things about Wait4me. I thought they mostly did mail order tunes.

I've never even heard of them. Talk to any LS guys in Indy about their tunes, 90% of them will brag on Norris.
