The oil pump listed for the LS6 in a 2005 CTS-V is the same as the oil pump listed for the LS2 in a 2007 CTS-V, so I think they are the same.

What does the reluctor wheel have anything to do with the oil pump?

Try it this way, the GM Part Number for the LS6 oil pump is 12586665. If you google that number you will find it listed by many vendors as the replacement pump for 1997+LS1s and LS2s.

If you are asking whether GM even sold an LS2 anywhere, anytime with some different pump on it - I do not know - there are just too many LS2s out there.
