You think they stopped doing that with the LSx family? NO!
As such, no point screwing around with the seats. You might find miniscule improvement doing 7 angle intake seats and radiused exhaust seats, but those are not 100,000 mile seats. Those are chase-big-numbers seats.
I've been porting heads since before the first SuperFlow 600 hit the market, and I've spent untold hours on the latest and greatest, the 1020.
That SuperFlow 1020 was ordered with every option, literally, so I could check swirl and wet flow, not just chase big numbers.
My advise is based on this background. What's his based on?
You want flow that doesn't hurt combustion efficiency. I'm pointing you in that direction. I'm not sure what his agenda is.
