Default 5.3 bored to 5.7 LS1?

can a 5.3 be bored to use ls1 pistons and rods?

The 5.3 aluminum block is basically an LS6 block with thicker wall sleeves to reduce the bore size. They will bore out to LS1 LS6 bore size of 3.897".

What is the door code for the alum 5.3 block? Isn't the LM7 the iron version?

L33 or LM4, L33 has the 799 heads which is pretty much LS6 heads without the sodium filled valves and better springs.

the block I thought about boring is an iron block,but I found an aluminum block today out of an 07 half ton 4x4 that has the 799 heads
