Default Intake for 235/240 .595", 110lsa

Oops.. Had this on the external section.. moved:

So Im planning a 347 build for my 65 mustang. Ive already got a set of ported 243s, and a cam thats matched to fit. What Im wondering is how to let them breeve..

Ideas:

OPTION ONE:
-Truck intake-
Thinking TBSS intake, factory PCM, injectors, tb, rails, etc. This would mean I could use DBW and a 90mm tb. I think this would be less expensive, and more of a hassle

Pic stolen from carfreak07, id certainly copy him and shave it up (his cool monte)

OPTION TWO:
-Carbie EFI-
I think more power, more money, better looks, and less of a hassle tuning, wiring, etc. would be to run a FAST EZ EFI, along with a carb style Victor Jr/Super Vic..

It seems like the truck setup would be great under the curve with this setup (especially if portmatched to the heads), but would probably run out of steam before the rest of the engine. The 4150 style intake would certainly allow it to breathe better, and the FAST setup is as inclusive as a full truck-system pull (tb, injectors, computer, rails, etc), its more expensive off the bat but would keep from needing a tune and some of the wiring shtuff..

Ive read that theres some cam specificity that comes to play with these intakes, but from what ive seen, this cam actually looks like itd work well?

235/240 .595/.595 on a 110LSA

GOALS: this car will be daily-driven, to some degree. No plans for a purpose built racer, but I dont want to bottleneck the system, nor reinvent the wheel. So far the plan is ~460 horse, ~2900 lbs, so itll be a ton of fun either way (undecided on the trans). Ive narrowed my options down to these because of their ease/attainability, but this whole build is sort of a 'light at the end of a tunnel' situation, and could change (ls6, etc), so if you'd do something else, let me know.

Super vic, since they look nasty! But im a little bias, and prob overkill in my situation on a 5.3. Im looking for a similar cam right now, but i've gone way over budget so im looking for a used one.

yeah, i think that a super vic/ vic jr both look meaner.

from what youve seen these specs are right for a carb-style?

love your build btw

Thanks! bring back an old post, but something with a 110lsa should do better with a singleplane. Im not really well versed in cams tho. I just installed my supervic yesterday with a 4500TB, keeping stock harness and comp and getting an SD tune.

Im running a 4,000 stall in my 408, so I cant say anything about anything lower than that, but as I was looking out of the windshield and glancing out the side window as I pulled away from another crotch rocket today I heard the car shift at 7,500 rpms twice today
