was that with a qa1/afco/strange shock and a transbrake?

My 11.0 was with all stock suspension and a 4L60E with just a shift kit. The only aftermarket piece I had at the time was a torque arm so the rest was factory. Now I have Afco's all around with full suspension and it runs 10.20's@130 or 6.40's@106 in the 1/8th. That's off of the footbrake with the identical motor with no changes.

i hope you are getting a deal on the bbk intake, if your going to buy one new i would look for a used fast setup, not knocking the bbk intake at all though, also what i have found really helped my ms4 was the tsp duals , there is alot left in your setup , every lil thing i do helps, max effort cams need max effort parts

I think you can't go wrong with either TSP / AFR or TFS heads based on what i have witnessed and experienced.

I had AFR 205's when I had the MS3.

dam how did you do that? i have the same setup (ms3 cam. fast 92, yank 3600, 10 bolt 373s, with drag radials. just lca's, torque arm, panhard bar) and run 11.9 on motor and 11.4 on a 125 shot.

What's your car 60'? Is it spinning? What kind of power did it make on the dyno? What's your race weight? When I went 11.0 on motor my best was a 1.51 60' and I think it would have done better with more converter. Now my car currently 60's in the mid 1.3's (1.35-1.37) with the 5000 stall. Before I did H/C/I I ran 11.2@123 on the stock untouched motor with 4.10's, 3600 stall, 125 shot, and longtubes (full weight no suspension). I consider the MS3 a max effort cam and like BOBS99SS said max effort cams need to be surrounded by max effort parts. A 3600 stall is small for that cam and I would have something in the 4000+ range. Take my car for instance, I took 250 pounds out, changed the converter/trans, and went through the entire suspension and gained .7 and 7MPH. Granted I did a lot of changes but none of that involved the engine.
